FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: composition for protective decorative coating comprises (wt %):7-17 phosphate- calcium-zinc-nitrate borate or phosphate-calcium-zinc borate or phosphate-calcium-zinc-nitrate-fluoroborate or calcium phosphate or aluminoboron phosphate binder; 6-33 at least one component from the group consisting of SiO₂- and/or AI₂O₃-based slags, ashes, slurries and also expanded clay aggregate, vermiculite, perlite, crushed ceramic and fire clay products, red crushed brick, glass, pyroceram and slag pyroceram which are inert in acid media; 1-9 pigment; 20-60 latex; 0.3-2.5 surfactant; 0.1-2 foam suppressor; 1-9 hydrosilicate; 0.2-1.7 antifreezer; and the water balance. The claimed composition makes it possible to prepare low toxic, viable and frost resistant coatings which are atmosphere resistant in marks. EFFECT: improved properties of the composition. 2 tbl
