FIELD: medicine, microbiology. SUBSTANCE: blood leukolayer is used as sowing material and 5% blood agar obtained on highly nutrient base is added to nutrient medium. Culturing conditions are microaerophilic or, preferably, anaerobic ones. Plates with sowing were scanned in 18-24 h and results were obtained on the 3-d day after blood sampling. Resolution capability of bacteriological diagnosis of bacteremia by the developed method is 97%. EFFECT: improved method and resolution of method. 1 tbl
