FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method recommends to use chemical agents for cleaning surgical instruments. Inventive novelty of method resides in fact that, as chemicals, it employs immobilized proteolytic enzymes and modified nucleases. In first stage of cleaning immobilized proteolytic enzymes are used in form of solution containing bacterial proteinases having activity 120-150 units/milliliter and taken in amount 10-12 g, polyalkyleneoxide 2-9, water being balance. In final stage of cleaning solution of modified nucleases is used in amount 250-350 mg. EFFECT: 1) extended service life of instruments; 2) anti-viral treatment.
