FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water treatment. Method defluorination of water involves filtration of water through filtering structure of cylindrical shape, in which system is located, consisting of layer of silicon dioxide with thickness of 5 cm, layer of granular activated carbon with thickness of 10 cm and layer of sorbent with thickness of 0.5 cm. Sorbent includes material based on bacterial cellulose, modified nano-layer of aluminum oxide Al2O3.
EFFECT: invention enables to remove fluorine ions from natural and tap water, provide high adsorption capacity and defluorination safety.
