FIELD: shipbuilding; building of multi-hulled ships - ice-breakers. SUBSTANCE: multi-hulled ship includes two underwater hulls inter-connected by means of fore and aft struts; distance between hulls may be changed by means of drive which is made in form of hydraulic cylinders mounted in aft extremity. Each strut consists of two articulated parts. Ends of fore strut are secured on hulls by means of hinges and ends of aft strut are rigidly connected with respective hydraulic cylinders.
