FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has multiple-position actuating member connected to control unit and positioned adjacent to metal particle withdrawal station, two detectors disposed transverse to and in spaced relation one relative to the other in material movement direction, pulse-type material movement sensor, shift register, conjunctors, memory and particle coordinate repositioning unit. Inputs of shift register are connected to first detector and to first output of movement sensor, and outputs of shift register are connected through conjunctors and memory and particle coordinate repositioning unit to inputs of control unit. Second detector is connected to second inputs of conjunctors, second input of memory and particle coordinate repositioning unit, whose third, fourth, fifth inputs are connected with first, second, third outputs of movement sensor.
