FIELD: agricultural meteorology, in particular, drought control. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying electric charges of one sign and then of other sign into atmosphere, with charge supplies being periodically repeated and changing of sign being performed through each 1•10-2-2•105 sec. It allows atmosphere particles enlarging process to be accelerated so that precipitation particles are created and rain is provoked even when cloudiness is not clearly defined. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method.
