FIELD: applied meteorology, in particular, provision for safe operation of air and motor transport vehicles. SUBSTANCE: method involves simultaneously generating positively charged particles by means of main corona wires and negatively charged particles by means of auxiliary corona wires, with wind direction being taken into account and negatively charged particles flow being respectively oriented. It allows diffusion of particles of different signs to be provided for facilitating dissipation of clouds or fog. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and wider operational capabilities. 3 cl
