FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns removing petroleum products and sludge-forming sediments from water in recycling water-supply systems of industrial enterprises and may be used to continuously separate two immiscible liquids having different densities. Plant contains vessel separated by a vertical partition (its dimensions depending on capacity of plant) into treatment and transfer chambers. Initial mixture is fed vertically through inlet pipe into expansion pocket located on outer side surface of the vessel having 3-4-fold increase in open-flow area. Expansion pocket is connected with discharge head dump disposed inside treatment chamber and constructed of several, at least two perforated pipes with horizontal symmetrical openings. Treatment chamber has oblique wall with a series of horizontally arranged openings at the level of petroleum product discharge forming with walls of vessel chamber for primary settling of petroleum products, which is linked, through inclined pipeline and valve, to underlying additional tank for secondary settling of petroleum products having appearance of plant servicing platform.
