FIELD: metallurgy, particular, casting of alloy, mainly, ferroalloy for microalloying and modification of steel and inoculation of cast iron. SUBSTANCE: the offered device is intended for realization of the method of continuous casting based on one-sided freezing of alloy crust up to 5 mm thick from melt supplied to vessel-mold formed by conjugating surfaces of rotating water-cooled rolls with flanges. Novelty consists in that flanges are water-cooled. In this case, flanges serve as additional surfaces of melt crystallization. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
