FIELD: mechanical engineering; compression machines. SUBSTANCE: spiral compressor has housing with working member installed in housing and made in form of two disks with spiral working surfaces pointed to each other for engagement and forming working chambers. One of above indicated disks of working member is secured stationary, and the other is installed for planetary displacement relative to first disk by eccentric shaft. Compressor has ivolute gear train one member of which is secured in housing stationary, and the other is rigidly coupled with movable disk of working member for simultaneous rotation around central and eccentric axes at equal speed but in opposite directions. Displace between axes is equal to half the value of side clearance of meshed gear teeth. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
