FIELD: radioisotopes' production. SUBSTANCE: metal matrix cleaned to remove surface impurities is irradiated in reactor or cyclotron, placed into evacuated quartz ampoule, and distilled at 650-1000 K. Hot end of ampoule is opened and loading place of matrix is treated with 0.05 N HCl solution or hot nitric acid. Yield of target radionuclide is at least 99.9% with no additional treatment. EFFECT: improved efficiency of recovery.
