FIELD: electric engineering, automation, setter of controlled movements. SUBSTANCE: transducer has magnetic system, core which is made from magnetostrictive material and executive body. Device provides following operations: alternation of weight center of executive body by means of generation of main magnetic field in region of core, at least one alternation of intensity of main magnetic field in range between zero level to level which provides magnetic striction of core material saturation in direction of main magnetic field. Additional permanent magnetic field is preliminary generated in region of core. Intensity of additional magnetic core is less than intensity of field of core material saturation in direction of additional magnetic field. Main magnetic field is generated from non-simultaneous pulses of magnetic field which intensity vector projections on core axis which coincides with direction of executive body movement are opposite. Required position of weight center of executive body is kept constant for zero level of intensity of main magnetic field in period between said pulses of magnetic fields in range limited by maximal residual magnetostrictive alternation of length of core which depends on intensity of additional magnetic field.
