FIELD: various fields of engineering; setting elements of magnetically controlled displacements, primarily for precision positioning of final elements of machines and mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: transducer of one design version has magnetic-field source made in the from of two groups of opposing permanent magnets, magnetic circuit common for both mentioned groups of permanent magnets, as well as core coupled with actuating element (pusher) movable relative to case. At least one part of core is made of magnetostrictive material and placed between mentioned groups of permanent magnets in vicinity of magnetic field built up by them. Permanent magnets of magnetic-field source on one side of core are mounted for rotation relative to the latter. Permanent magnets on opposite side of core are secured on mentioned common magnetic circuit which is motionless relative to core. Axis of revolution of permanent-magnet group movable relative to core is parallel to pusher displacement. Case proper made of magnetic material may be used as common magnetic circuit. Second design version of transducer has only one permanent magnet. EFFECT: reduced power requirement, mass and size, extended variation range of core linear dimensions, and improved reliability of transducer. 3 cl, 6 dwg
