FIELD: apparatuses for fixing parts subjected to technological treatment in different branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: vacuum device for fixing articles includes housing 1 whose cavity 2 is connected with vacuumizing means and it is restricted by gas permeable member 4 made of porous material, for example of cermet and fluid tightly joined with housing 1. One face of member 4 serves as basic supporting surface 5 for fixed article 6. Means 8 for sealing system "housing 1 - gas permeable member 4 - article 6" includes rheological liquid placed in contact at least with one closed-contour surface portion of housing 1 and(or) member 4 with possibility of contacting at least with one closed-contour surface portion of fixed article 6. Electromagnetic field source 7 is mounted with possibility of changing viscosity of said rheological liquid. Article 6 is fixed due to vacuumizing cavity of housing 1.
