FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: magnetic mechanical converter comprises magnetic system with source of magnetic field, arranged in the form of at least one permanent magnet, conductor installed in body with mechanical axis passing through its geometric centre, contacting with its support surface to support surface of body. Conductor is arranged with gap relative to source of magnetic field and includes at least one element from magnetostrictive material. Conductor and at least one part of magnetic system are installed with the possibility of displacement or rotation relative to each other. Actuating element is joined with its support surface with support surface of conductor with the possibility of displacement relative body. Support surfaces of conductor and body and support surfaces of conductor and actuating element are pressed to each other with the help of elastic element. Conductor and actuating element are installed with limitation of their displacement in direction, perpendicular to direction of actuating element displacement. Force of initial tension of elastic element is selected with provision of permanent, without opening, power contact of specified support surfaces of actuating element with conductor and conductor with body in the whole working range of magnetic system displacement and change of value and direction of forces acting at conductor and actuating element.

EFFECT: provision of reliable and stable operation in the whole range of movements of actuating element, variances of value and direction of forces, acting in converter.
