FIELD: computer engineering, in particular, receiving, processing, encoding, transmission, storage and recovery of information. SUBSTANCE: method involves representation of objects as tuple of decomposition elements, which numerical values belong to single unit circle which conforms to function , where e is natural logarithmic base; k is finite integer which depends on range of object characteristics [0,k-1]; j is current value of characteristic, j∈[0,k-1]; xs is chosen numerical characteristic. Dependency between numerical characteristics of decomposition elements is represented by function p(W0+W1X1+ ... +WnXn), where for 2πj/K≤arg(z)<2π(j+1)/k. W0,1...n are weights which values conform to values of function P for all decomposition elements which interdependency is detected. Recovery of information is achieved using function P(W0+W1X1+ ... +WnXn) for found weights W0,1...n. EFFECT: possibility to detect space-time characteristics of objects, increased precision of prediction of characteristics, partial recovery of lost information about object. 2 cl, 4 dwg
