FIELD: mechanical engineering; opposed cylinder engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has crankcase 2 with two opposed cylinders 1, pistons 3 fitted in cylinders and provided with rods 7. Crankcase 2 accommodates shaft 4 with flywheel 5 provided with slot 13. Ellipsoid channels 14 with fitted on antifriction bearings 8 are located on side surfaces. Bearing are fitted in rods 7. To prevent deflection of rods 7 from axis of cylinders 1 guides 12 are used with fitted in antifriction bearing 10 supported by plates. Sliding of antifriction bearings 10 of rods 7 along chutes 9 precludes rotation of pistons 3 and antifriction bearings 8 relative to axis of cylinders 1.
