FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: products: hexahydronaphthalene ester compounds of the formula (I): where R1 means group of the formula (II) or (II) ; R5 means hydrogen atom; Ra means hydroxy-group; R6a means hydrogen atom or hydroxy-protective group, and/or (A) R2 means ethyl group; R3 means alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms or alkenyl group having 2-6 carbon atoms, and R4 means alkyl group having 2-4 carbon atoms or alkenyl group having 2-5 carbon atoms; or (b) R2 means propyl group; R3 means hydrogen atom, and R4 means propyl group; or (c) R2 means butyl group; R3 means methyl group, and R4 means methyl group, and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts. 2. Compound as at point 1 where: R2 means ethyl group; R3 means alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms or allyl group; and R4 means alkyl group having 2-4 carbon atoms or allyl group. 3. Compound as points 1 or 2 where: R1 means group of the formula (II) . 4. Compound as at point 3 where R6a means hydrogen atom. 5. Compound as at point 1 where: means ethyl group; R3 means alkyl group having 1-3 carbon atoms; and R4 means alkyl group having 2 or 3 carbon atoms. Invention proposes pharmaceutical composition inhibiting biosynthesis of cholesterol and involving compounds of the formula (I) as an active component and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
