FIELD: transport engineering; mechanical engineering; engine with rotor executing plane-parallel movement. SUBSTANCE: engine has housing and rotor installed on two parallel eccentric shafts rotating in synchronism. Surfaces of housing and rotor are made in form of two cylindrical surfaces intersecting over generating lines, with radii whose difference is equal to shaft eccentricity so that two periodically closed combustion chambers are formed by surface of housing and rotor at each revolution of shafts. Distance between shaft axes is calculated to provide compression in combustion chamber at closed state period, complete combustion with pressure rise at constant pressure of charge and execution of working stroke caused by passage of gases from combustion chamber into working chamber at the moment of opening of combustion chamber. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 6 dwg
