SUBSTANCE: in process of running-in lubricating conditions corresponding to most intensive running-in are maintained by decreasing oil pressure in main oil gallery from maximum to minimum tolerable values for operation at no load, depending on degree of alignment of engine friction surfaces which is evaluated by crankshaft rotational speed.
