ENGINE OIL FEED SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; automobile internal combustion engine lubrication systems. SUBSTANCE: oil feed system has oil pump, intake pipeline, reservoir, outlet pipeline, check valve, electromagnetic valve, two-position distributor and overflow valve. Check valve is installed in reservoir bypass hole made in lower of reservoir, and its inner space is filled with air under pressure. Reservoir is connected with main oil line by means of intake and outlet pipelines, with bypass valve being arranged in intake pipeline and electromagnetic valve, in outlet pipeline. Two-position oil distributor is located in placed of connection of intake and outlet pipelines, and overflow valve is installed in main oil line between inlet of intake pipeline and outlet of outlet pipeline. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation of lubrication system before starting internal combustion engine and during initial period of its operation. 3 dwg
