FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes method for preparing organotin compounds, more particularly method of preparing new organotin compounds of general formula given in the specification. The claimed method comprises α-olefins with triethyl aluminium (AlEt₃) in molar ratio of 10:(10- 12) in the presence of zirconacene dischloride (Cp₂ZrCl₂) in amount of 2-4 more % with respect to define in organ atmosphere at room temperature and under standard present while stirring for 8 hours, subsequently adding ether or tertiary amine (Et₃N) as Lewis bases in amount of 10 mm and dialkylolovodichloride (R₂SnCl₂) wherein R is Et, Bu used in two fold excess with respect to initial AlEt₃ in 10 ml of toluene and subsequently heating reaction mixture at 75-85 C for 3-5 hours. Total yield of individual 1,1,3- trialkylolovocyclopentanes is 72-84%. The resulting compounds are useful as inhibitors of polyvinyl chloride thermal decomposition and as catalysts for preparation of polyurethanes and as cold wash solution for silicone rubbers.
