FIELD: equipment of cowper stoves. SUBSTANCE: hot-blast valve of cowper stoves has lined body and locking disc located in cover under conditions of blast and lowered into body in conditions of heating. Body includes hollow annular stops with cylindrical inner and outer surfaces. One of end surfaces of annular stops is bent inside body and has circular packing belt to contact locking disc. The other annular surface of annular stops is welded to fastening flanges and has plate-like profile. Ratio of length of element of internal cylindrical surface of annular stops to the length of element of outer cylindrical surface amounts to 0.75-0.85. Width of channel between annular stops equals 0.3-0.4 of valve length. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
