FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely equipment of air heaters of blast furnaces. SUBSTANCE: hot-blast gate valve includes lined body with cover, cooled lined hollow disc. In cavity of disc are mounted: curvilinear lateral guide for supplying heat transfer agent, vertical separating apertured partitions and additional curvilinear apertured partition. Curvilinear lateral partition is mounted opposite relative to curvilinear lateral guide along the same circle; length of curvilinear lateral partition consists 0.6-0.7 of length of semicircle of above mentioned circle. Lower ends of curvilinear partition and lateral curvilinear guide are equally spaced from vertical axis of disc by distance consisting 0.2-0.25 of length of semicircle. Vertical separating apertured partitions are arranged with uniform pitch; their upper and lower ends are placed on the same circle described from disc center. EFFECT: increased service life period of valve due to enhanced strength of its disc. 1 dwg
