FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: ball joint has all-stamped body 1, pin 2 with ball head 3, first insert 4 of spherical surface with supporting areas separated by longitudinal grooves and cylindrical surface in smaller-thickness section, second insert 5 which internal surface is provided with supporting areas separated by mutually perpendicular grooves 6, and cover 7 fixed on body 1 by rolling-in of its projections 8. In addition, provision is made for protective cover 9 which internal space is filled with lubricant and auxiliary cover 10 fixing protective cover 9 in position. Bushing 11 may be installed on pin 2 at base of ball head 3. Inserts 4 and 5 are made of carbon plastic or other material, and ball head 3 is provided with flat surface 12. Insert 5 has recess 13.
