FIELD: strip or microstrip feeder systems distributing electromagnetic energy among using equipment, such as antenna array radiators. SUBSTANCE: stretched assemblies of microwave couplers are arranged close to each other in feeder system and form two-dimensional array corresponding to two-dimensional array of radiator that has lines and columns; beam travel can be controlled in direction perpendicular to lines. Each assembly uses different types of couplers ensuring amplitude and phase variation of respective radiators in each line. Couplers include Wilkinson coupler, hybrid backward-wave coupler, and function as power splitters during backward wave transmission. Signal picked off first coupler output goes to next coupler of line, and remaining power taken off second output of coupler is fed to antenna radiator. Each coupler assembly has main-line conductor interconnecting couplers to form assembly with desired small width, approximately smaller than one wavelength in free space.
