FIELD: manufacturing processes including clad metal welding. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of removing clad material out of surfaces to be welded, heating said surfaces by means of two scanning beams, applying cladding metal onto welded seam after welding and processing it by means of defocussed beam. It significantly increases thickness of welded tubes. EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded tubes due to effective preliminary heating of welded band and due to protecting it against oxidation, possibility of welding tubes with outer and inner clad layers. 11 cl, 2 dwg
