SUBSTANCE: catalyst or membrane system is provided containing heat-resistant high porous layer applied onto less porous carrier layer, especially onto internal surface of a monolith or caked metallic body, into internal pores of alpha-alumina, carbon carrier, or onto surface of ceramic membrane. Catalyst system can be prepared by way of applying solution of an appropriate organometallic compound onto internal surface of carrier layer followed by converting organometallic compound into corresponding oxide.
