FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: use: for making a battery of interconnected solar cells. Essence of invention consists in the fact that method of making battery of interconnected solar cells includes: providing a stack of continuous layers of a given thickness on the substrate, the stack of layers comprising upper and lower conductive layers with a photoconductive layer and a semiconducting layer with electronic conductivity there between; selective removal of upper conducting layer and photoactive layer to obtain contact channel opening semiconducting layer with electronic conductivity; selective heating of stack of layers to first depth (d1) to obtain first heated zone at first centre-to-centre distance (s1) from contact channel, wherein first zone subjected to heating is converted into substantially insulating area with substantially first depth (d1) in the stack of layers, thereby providing locally increased electrical resistivity to the stack of layers.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling reduction of cross contamination of elements and contamination of working area, as well as further optimizing geometric filling factor and providing greater flexibility in determining geometric configuration of interconnected solar cells.
