FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: wire-rhombic antenna has no resistor and power absorbed in it is returned over feedback line via twist (polarity reversal). Directivity pattern maximum of antenna that has small length (I≪λ/2) is on input side and not on resistor end as in antenna whose length (I>λ/2). Closed power beam is built up along antenna wires and feedback line where from curved beams are split off and turn into straight radial beams in distant range. Antenna obtained in this way and operating as circular resonator is narrow-band arrangement. Antenna band can be greatly reduced by removing feedback line and connecting antenna through twist to second U-shaped large antenna that forms, together with the former, witch-shaped curve (along conductor axis) to make radiation maxima of both antennas coincide. Capacitors may be periodically and often inserted in antenna coincide. Capacitors may be periodically and often inserted in antenna wires. Wire ends shorted out on external side from aperture may turn into cylindrical screen. EFFECT: reduced power loss, improved directivity pattern of antenna. 3 cl, 2 dwg
