FIELD: food engineering and domestic equipment. SUBSTANCE: vegetable cutter has housing mounted on support and provided with closure. Piston with stem is positioned within housing at one side for sliding along housing in both directions. At other side of housing three sets of knives are inserted into slots. First set of knives is fixed in housing, second set of knives is mounted for rotation about axis of housing and fixation in predetermined position and third set of knives is mounted for rotation about axis of housing. Usage of separate sets of knives and combinations with knives of different shape and spaces allows vegetables to be cut so as to obtain cut vegetables with different section. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities by providing cutting of vegetables in different directions and obtaining various sections of cut product, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 4 dwg
