FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has carcass consisting of hip lever and talocrural lever with fastening members for fastening to an extremity. The levers are connected to each other by means of hinged unit having overrunning union member that can perform one-way rotation motion. The hinged unit is kinematically coupled to the carcass. Mechanism for fixing the hinged unit additionally has spring preventing the hip lever and talocrural lever from folding. Casing of the hinged unit has protection envelope. The carcass additionally has supporting platform pivotally connected to the inferior end of the talocrural lever. Angular movements of the hinged joint are limited. The hip levers are spiral-shaped. Carcass additionally has removable back, saddle provided with hinged hip member and mechanism for fixing the hip levers, additional removable carcass composed of two pivotally connected pairs of levers. EFFECT: excluded use of arm muscles for supporting and moving body mass; reliably fixed levers; noiseless operation; increased load on leg muscles. 2 cl, 8 dwg
