FIELD: pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: method involves extraction of licorice milled roots and rhizomes grist obtained at production with hot water at 90-95 C. Glycyrrhizic acid is precipitated at pH 2.0-3.0, dissolved in 96% ethyl alcohol up to preparing 70-80% spirituous-aqueous solution followed by its treatment with activated charcoal and filtration. Then product is converted to triammonium salt by addition 25% ammonium solution to spirituous-aqueous filtrate to pH 7.5-8.5, filtered and evaporated. Evaporated concentrate is acidified with glacial acetic acid at ratio 1:1 and product is crystallized from a mixture of 96% ethanol and glacial acetic acid. EFFECT: improved method of preparing. 1 cl
