FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: carried simultaneously is mining of two adjacent pillars of mineral by faces with leading face located on the side of bed dip. Intermediate workings are driven with undercutting of heaving rocks of bed floor. To provide for support of intermediate workings, yielding supports are installed on the section between double faces on the side of bed dip, and value of unreduced interval between faces is taken larger than caving step of main roof in worked out space of leading face. In mining of beds with dip angles up to 35 deg, maximum interval between double faces is taken less than the length of leading face. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
