FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: varying windwheel speed turns its blades forward and backward in response to control system signal by means of self-braking electric drive motor. The latter runs continuously and unidirectionally; blades are rotated by periodic connection of motor to self-braking drive with aid of reversing gear. Device implementing this process has self-braking blade-turning drive, electric motor, and control system; it is provided with reversing gear incorporating two electromagnetic couplings for periodic connection of electric motor, that runs continuously and unidirectionally, to self-braking blade-turning drive which has additional input shaft. Wind-power plant proper has additional electric motor and reversing gear made in the form of two electromagnetic couplings for periodic connection of main and additional motors, that run continuously and unidirectionally, to main and additional shafts of self- braking drive, respectively. EFFECT: improved accuracy of windwheel speed control. 5 cl, 5 dwg q
