FIELD: wind-electric power engineering. SUBSTANCE: power plant has sectional pole, hoist, windwheel with blades, nacelle, generator, transmission, flexible links, and adjustable supports, power ring, set of supporting groups, and peripheral supports; each supporting group is built up of series-connected ring trusses, lever, and peripheral truss; supporting group levers are mounted for turning and locking in position in which they rest on ground with their peripheral ends to form aperture between ground and bottom part of ring whose height and within are larger than those of power plant conveying platform; sectional pole is built up of similar modules, bottom one being mounted and locking inside ring whose shape and size are made to ensure translational movement of module through hole in central part of ring; flexible links are provided with tensioning mechanisms and on one end they are connected to peripheral support of each group of supporting mechanism; on other end, they are joined with top module of pole. Each flexible link may be provided with mechanism for adjusting its length, including preliminary and final tensioning mechanism, as well as self-tensioning mechanism for varying its length. Hoist has rack-and-gear assembly coupled with drive mounted on case which is made for mounting on ring. Peripheral supports are adjustable in height and at least one of them has dowel pin made for driving into ground. Power plant installation method involves transportation of power plant and base components to installation site, installation of windwheel and nacelle, sequential hoisting of power plant components. Power plant base is, essentially, power ring with through channel; prior to transportation, part of power plant including ring, ring truss, and levers is assembled, placed on transport platform with ring bottom resting on platform, and the latter is conveyed to installation site until base is aligned with desired point; then it is tentatively locked in this position and joined to ground by means of ring truss and lever; base-mounted part of plant is slightly lifted above transport platform, the latter is removed, and each pole module is hoisted over through channel in base; each assembled plant component is hoisted in step; at least one of hoisted is provided with means for mounting and locking functional equipment. Supporting members on peripheral supports are made in the form of vessels holding fluid or loose material. Base-mounted part of plant is lifted above platform by means of adjustable supports.
