FIELD: wind power engineering; starting wind power plants. SUBSTANCE: in starting, plant windwheel is accelerated by means of electric motor and as soon as it gains speed, its acceleration is stopped, and after it has gained speed, it is allowed to drive generator. During motor starting, windwheel is accelerated to intermediate speed ω amounting to 0.3-0.6 of rated speed ωh; then motor is turned off, windwheel is allowed to run at intermediate speed for some time and during this period setting angle of blades is adjusted to maintain windwheel speed between 0.3 and 0.6 of rated; after that, windwheel speed is brought to rated value. EFFECT: facilitated starting procedure. 4 cl, 4 dwg , 1 tbl
