FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of metal powder materials containing rare-earth metals and suitable for additive processes. Method involves melting a metal workpiece in a spraying chamber with an inert atmosphere, forming a jet of molten metal and dispersing the molten metal jet by spraying it with a gas jet of an inert gas formed by the nozzle. Vapors of volatile substances based on nitrogen hydride are introduced into the inert atmosphere of the spraying chamber or into the gas jet of the spraying inert gas to form a vapor-gas mixture. Volatile substance vapors used are ammonia NH4OH with its content in the vapor-gas mixture at level of 2–4 vol.% or ammonia NH3 with its content in the vapor-gas mixture at level of 3–5 vol.%.
EFFECT: higher corrosion resistance and improved magnetic and electrochemical properties of the obtained powders.
