FIELD: analysis of sewage of refining. SUBSTANCE: Os (VI) is extracted into sorbent phase with the help of silica gel being modified by benzoyl thiourea, the process takes place within 5 min at room temperature. Then Os (IV) is extracted and determined, the process takes place within 60-65 min by sorption on silica gel with bound groups of allyl thiourea in the presence of 0.8-1 ml of 10 % solution of SnCl2. Value of reflection of samples is used as analytical signal. EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method. 1 tbl
