FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying external fixation apparatus with wires to patient pelvis. Devices for suspending are applied to the lower extremities. To do it, two wires are crossed into crural area in their inferior and superior one-thirds and into the inferior one third of both thighs. The wire ends are fixed on Elizarov apparatus half-rings. The half-rings are arranged over the anterior surface of the crus and thighs and connected with by means of threaded tie rods to each other. Fractures being available in the lower extremities, compression-distraction apparatuses are applied to the injured segments. The devices for suspending are in addition applied to the lower extremities when needed. Complicated hip joint fractures being the case, they are suspended on apparatus rings. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; unhindered access to all areas of patient body. 2 cl, 2 dwg
