FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has optic part provided with supporting members as closed loops intersecting each other at three points near the optic part. The loops are manufactured from flexible polypropylene thread not subjected to heat treatment. Ends of the supporting members are attached to end face surface of the lens in the plane of its optic part. Small segments of threads adjacent to lens entry points have oval cross-section with the greater axis being set in perpendicular relation to lens diameter plane. Length of the oval segments is equal to at least three diameters of thread, the segments being positioned 0.5 thread diameters away from the lens surface. Axes of threads ends fixed in lens body, intersect the vertical axis of the lens. EFFECT: facilitated implantation process; enhanced stability of lens orientation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
