FIELD: automobile industry. SUBSTANCE: invention focuses on synthetic decoration for automobile interior. Structural elements are manufactured in three stages. In the first one, coating is formed by applying polyurethane elastomer 5 (optionally preliminarily prepared) onto surface 1 of press mold 2. In the second stage, an appropriate reaction mixture is sprayed onto polyurethane coating to form polyurethane foam layer 6 largely with open cells. Rigid synthetic carrier 8 is formed in the third stage where polyurethane or polycyanurate reaction mixture is applied. Thus, manufactured structural elements consist of homogeneous material, which facilitates regeneration of the elements. Outside surface of such elements, upon touch, gives sensation close to that from natural leather. EFFECT: increased service life of elements and improved their consumer quality. 18 cl, 5 dwg
