FIELD: sanitary and hygienic articles. SUBSTANCE: toothbrush has handle, head and bristles inclined relative to head. Bristles may be made hook-shaped, with balls on bristle ends or with cut flat members. Head is pivotally connected with handle to allow head position to be adjusted and fixed at any angle. Inclined surface of block defined by bristles allows particles to be readily removed from remote portions of mouth cavity. Hook-shaped, ball-shaped or flat ends of bristles facilitate effective cleaning of mouth cavity and intensified massage of gums. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 5 cl, 5 dwg
