FIELD: rolled product manufacture, in particular, equipment for die rolling in, for instance, hot pilger mills. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has adjusting coupling mounted in line of working roll spindle drive. Adjusting coupling is formed as toothed coupling with sleeve having one toothed portion mounted for engagement with toothed rack of roll and other toothed portion mounted for engagement with toothed sleeve on spindle neck. Toothed portions of sleeve have different tooth angular pitches meeting requirements indicated in formula recited in Specification. EFFECT: increased geometrical precision of rolled products by mounting rolls with minimum phase eccentricity and increased precision of coincidence of periodic portions of their passes. 2 cl, 4 dwg
