Offered also are ceramic thread consisting of tungsten core carrying a coating from titanium carbide and method of deposition of coating from titanium carbide onto tungsten thread. The method includes heating of thread and passing it through deposition chamber containing gases which coming in contact with hot thread precipitate to form coating.
