FIELD: telecommunication systems. SUBSTANCE: power of transmitted signals is controlled by comparison of power of received signal with the specified value. According to the results of comparison, power of transmitting station signal is controlled periodically or non-periodically. Calculation of required intensity of transmitting station signal can be accomplished both at the transmitting and receiving stations with due account made for the loss of signal power in the line of communication of both stations. The required value of power may be preset both as a constant and as a function of distance between the transmitting and receiving stations.
