SUBSTANCE: device has combustion chamber in the form of flat channel, mixer of nitrogen and oxygen, gas analyzer, material specimen holder and drive for moving the holder. The invention is based on the fact that with reduced thickness of flat gas layer confined between horizontal plates, naturally convection is practically fully discontinued and the process of heat-mass-transfer in firing takes place only due to forced convection as in zero-gravity state.
