FIELD: wind-power plants running continuously at varying directions of wind. SUBSTANCE: vertical-shaft windmill rotor has central supporting assembly 1 in top part of windmill shaft 2 provided with feathering hinge 3 whose axis is located above center of gravity of rotor. Attached to supporting assembly 1 are ring yoke 4 in the form of counter- poise and feathering hinge 3 forming axis of revolution of rotor; shaped blades 5 are installed on ring yoke 4 joined to supporting assembly through limiting dampers 6 which ensure maximum angle of inclination of shaped blades forming taper surface of revolution. Rotor is designed for self-alignment of its axis of revolution by means of feathering hinge whose center line is above center of gravity of rotor.
