FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cooler 1 for cooling macroparticle material coming out of furnace contains material distributed in the form of layer over stationary underpan-type bearing surface II, whereas cooling gas such as atmosphere air is blown in through material layer from injectors uniformly distributed over the underpan. Material is transported over the bearing surface II through cooler I by aid of a separate mechanical device 17 serving for conveyor transportation. All mentioned functions of cooler are independent and therefore can by performed in optimal way. EFFECT: enhanced operation efficiency. 12 cl, 9 dwg
